Celebrating the waterworks in the garden this spring half-term. Join one of the free garden tours and hear more about water features including the Cascade, Willow Tree Fountain, Ring Pond and Emperor Fountain, which will be played at its full height of 90 metres. Tours begin at the bottom of the Cascade every hour from 11.30am to 3.30pm.

Experience a garden like no other with a sculptural scene of flame and foliage bathing the house in a glow. Bring family and friends to explore the fire garden where trees crackle and blaze, flame tipped bulrushes sway in the evening breeze and colossal lilies belch plumes of fire when you least expect it. Enjoy entertainment upon arrival including a steel band, a pair of lost 17th century aristocrats causing mischief and fun and a New Orleans style brass band. On the South lawn discover perfectly choreographed fire dances, skillful circus artistry and a jaw dropping human kaleidoscope.

A lecture on the history of the productive gardens at Chatsworth; from the historic site at Barbrook and the influence of Joseph Paxton, to the present day Kitchen garden. At Chatsworth we grow a range of edible crops and cut flowers that are used within the house. Hear from the team about how they grow vegetables, fruit and flowers for the house, and pick up some tips that you can use in your own garden.
Includes refreshments on arrival, lunch in the Burlington room and admission to the house and garden on the day.
