Farmers' Markets 2008

A list of Farmers' Markets in Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton, Matlock and Whaley Bridge in the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire.

In addition to Farmers' Markets throughout the year, Buxton also has a regional food fair most months of the year and, in October, the Great Peak District Fair.

Wheelchair access is 9 out of 10 Under cover at the Agricultural Business Centre in the Heart of Bakewell, with plenty of parking and easy access. Wheelchair access is very good with all areas accessible. There is a cattle grid, with a gate at the side, between the car park and the Farmers' Market. Generally on the last Saturday of the month.

Wheelchair access is 9 out of 10 Indoor and outdoor market at Imperial Rooms, Matlock (opposite swimming pool). Wheelchair access is very good with all areas accessible. However, in January 2008 we were aware that a few electric scooters have had problems negotiating the ramp from the car park to the building containing the Matlock Farmers' Market.
